The scientists and medical experts around the world are racing against time to find a vaccine to battle the novel coronavirus and cities have been put under lockdown to limit the spread of the same. Since the COVID-19 has already claimed 14,705 lives globally, it is safe to today that the world collectively is going through a lot.

In the lack of any definitive cure, vaccine or even medicines, the only way we can ride through this pandemic is by strictly taking all the preventative measures and not stepping out of our houses. The weekly meal plans largely consist of non-perishable items including pulses grains, millets and spices. Rujuta says, “There’s a lot in our diverse culinary wisdom to offer you a variety of nutrients to last through the quarantine.”

The celeb nutritionist hasn’t only listed the 3 big meals of the day but also taken care of the in-between cravings. While it may take a bit of learning to get there, most of the meals on the weekly plan are simple enough for the beginners. From dal rice with pickle to ragi dosa with gun powder, there seems to something for everyone. Rujuta also stressed that you can take this plan as a reference and adapt it to your taste, region and availability.
